Each language has a unique history of its own and tells a captivating story of the people. There are 7000 living languages spoken on Earth. Almost half of those are endangered, while only 20 of those are spoken by half the world’s population. How did some languages become so popular while others are dying out? We look at what language can tell us about the past and us. This talk will exhibit a large set of photos from the diverse peoples of Indonesia and will take the format of a discussion.
