Come and get to see the changes in rivers, lakes, glaciers, and forests. Showing a river model, you can try for yourself how much a river can change when humans intervene. Through a cipher game, you'll find out how quickly glaciers melt, how fast tropical rainforests are being cut down, and what the landscape looked like before and after mining. This game and guided demonstration have been prepared for you by Dr. Radek Tichavský from the Department of Physical Geography and Geoecology, Faculty of Science, University of Ostrava.
