People are born with a genetic predisposition, but the activation of these genes depends on the situations they are put in and the experiences they go through. Throughout life, crises are an inevitable and natural part that is written into the uniqueness of each individual. Expected crises, known as transitional crises, are firmly linked to human development and include, for example, puberty, menopause and midlife crisis. In addition to these transitional crises, people are exposed to crises due to external circumstances, which are individually different and perceived differently by each individual. Although people usually go through crises that do not affect their integrity, they may also be in situations that go beyond the normal human experience and have a profound impact on their psyche and life direction. This presentation will focus on understanding these developmental challenges and crises, their impact on personal growth, and the ways in which people cope with these challenges.
