Come to see the Light Microscopy Core Facility of the Institute of Molecular Genetics (LMCF IMG), a state-of-the-art scientific service laboratory equipped with a wide range of advanced microscopy techniques and image processing approaches.

Those interested will see fluorescent samples on various microscopes. They will be able to view live specimens on a lightsheet microscope enabling imaging of optical sections. They will also see a cross-section of a daisy bud and three-colored animal cells, in which they will be able to observe nuclei, mitochondria and the cell skeleton at the same time. We will also give those interested a short tour of the microscopic facility.
