What exactly is biomechanics, and how do biomechanical experiments and computer simulations assist doctors? In our demonstration, you will get an insight into research on surgical techniques in which metal implants are inserted into the patient's body to facilitate the healing of complex pelvic bone fractures. The goal of this research is to design an optimal technique that enables rapid fracture healing while reducing the complexity and risks of treatment.
