Ancient management ways may be a suitable adaptation to the current difficulties associated with climate change. Participants will be introduced to concepts such as coppice, coppice management, coppice-with-standards forest. The connection between biodiversity and different ways of (non)management will be explained and illustrated. We will demonstrate the biotope tree using the example of a bicentennial standard.
