In this musical workshop, participants will have the opportunity to prepare and perform a selection of melodies from the repertoire of Gregorian chant. These will be sung both individually and as part of later polyphonic compositions, with the support of singers and instrumentalists from Ensemble Versus (a choir affiliated with the Institute of Musicology). Join us for a journey through the evolution of musical harmony, culminating in a shared performance that bridges the worlds of monophonic and polyphonic music.
